Middle School Curriculum
Our Middle School CBSE programme provides a framework of academic challenges that encourages students to explore real-world concepts and issues, challenge assumptions, think critically and acquire skills that they will need to apply throughout their educational and future professional journeys. In addition to the core academic classes of the CBSE, students benefit greatly from our Life Skills programme where they are encouraged to discuss and debate on topics relevant to navigating adolescence. We value the development of the whole child and ensure that students lead balanced lives in and out of school. The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) middle school curriculum for grades 6–8 focuses on core subjects, while also providing opportunities for students to learn other subjects and develop skills:
English, mathematics, and science
Hindi, Sanskrit, Social Studies, General Knowledge, Computer Science, Art, Yoga, Music, Dance, Vocal and Instrumental Music, Pottery, and Physical Education
Regular practical experiments and monthly tasks to supplement classroom instruction
To prepare students for secondary education, build character and confidence, and develop critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication skills
